Hearing The Identity Word
This teaching explores the perceived contradiction between the biblical passages that describe Israel’s spiritual blindness and the divine promise that all Israel shall see and understand. This explains that while Jesus used parables specifically to fulfill prophecies of a spiritually deaf and blind people, this state is a temporary judgment caused by the false traditions of men and a “spirit of deep sleep” sent by God. Through a survey of Isaiah’s prophecies, that God’s sovereign purpose includes a future “restitution” where he will suddenly break Israel’s iniquity and open the eyes of the blind. Ultimately, the identity of the Anglo-Saxon and kindred peoples as the true sheep of Israel is the key to unlocking these mysteries, ensuring that every member of this race will eventually hear the Shepherd’s voice and be saved from their sins.
