The Push for Equality

By Pastor Wesley Swift

This sermon was given in 1962 during the Administration of John Kennedy. Swifts talks about how there is a push for equality; that the America Bar Association talked about “that all people are created equal” referring to the Declaration of Independence. When that was written it was by White men about White men. It did not refer to other races as Negroes were slave then and it did not include them. Find out more of events that led up to the Civil Rights Act and immigration from every country of the earth.

It’s sad that many people who consider themselves leaders of  “right-wing” ignore what right-wingers believed in times past. On many issues, they take the opposite stand. This is to mislead us. Remember the Bible tells of days where “good shall be called evil, and evil called good,” and we are here now.
